Re: “Signal Media responds to Heartbeat 106.7 feedback: Not about 'playing great music'

I only just discovered 106.7 this summer and I'm sad to see it go, too!

Re: “Trayvon Martin protest at UA

This was a teenager wearing his hoodie with the hood up because it was raining!! As the mother of a hoodie wearing teenager, I'm so sadden by this tragic event. Why was Trayvon hunted down and shot ?!! It goes way beyond the scope of "stand your ground." When Zimmerman told the dispatcher that he was pursuing this young man the dispatcher said,"We don't need you to do that". I still don't understand what the boy was doing wrong. Justice for Trayvon!

Re: “Lyons: Justice for Trayvon Martin

My heart goes out to Trayvon's family. I have a teenage son who walks around wearing a black hoodie all the time. He often walks to the convenience store for junk food and talks to his friends on his cell phone. The difference? He's white. Does Florida's, "stand your ground" law also mean, "run them down?" Trayvon, from all accounts, was a sweet boy trying to make his way to his Dad's fiancée's house. What was his crime?

Does it also mean, "Run them down?". Trayvon was boy trying to make his way to his Dad's fiancée's house. What was his crime?
