Unlike many athletic departments around the country and in the SEC, Arkansas doesn't charge students an athletic fee. Arkansas generates its athletic revenues entirely from ticket sales, SEC revenue sharing, licensing, marketing, and private donations. I appreciate Senator Pryor's interest in assuring competitive bidding but, as is the case with other athletic projects at Fayetteville, this is a project that will not involve public funding or fee revenue generated from students. Any bond issue will be paid for from revenues generated from traditional Razorback revenue sources.
