Re: “There goes the neighborhood: Push emerges to sell Forest Hills for Tech Park

So this may explain a number of things:

Like why did Rohn  Muse pulling the Forest Hills neighborhood out of the collation that was opposing the Tech Park back in August?

It is known that Rohn was actively campaigning for the three stooges, at-large city directors.  He put a lot of effort into Joan's and Gene's campaigns.

Is he behind this latest supposed Tech Park welcoming by Forest Hills?   Is Rohn on any of Dickson's far flung hidden companies payrolls?

Didn't Rohn's house fall outside of the Tech Park's proposed footprint in Forest Hills? Is he placing himself in position to gain a windfall for his home?  Seems the Dailey Recorded reported that he had refinanced his house.

Would love to have Mr. Muse under oath, bet he would wet himself and spill the skinny on what is about to befall Forest Hills.

Re: “Early etc. open line UPDATE

I dropped the paper for three months and they begged me to start back up. $16 per month for a year ($192), plus a $10 Wally World Gift Card. So, it worked out to be $182 for a year.

I look forward to you acting on your post by bring forth the necessary ordinance changes to the Planning Commission early in 2013 to fulfill you “absolutely support Planning Commissioners from every Ward.”.

Re: “Chipotle proposes more fast food, more traffic at Markham and University

Stacy, you are so kind to admit that YOUR WARD, Ward 3, does have a disproportionate number of Planning Commission Members.

I wonder if you would want to post their addresses? No Capital View or Lower Hillcrest address among them are there? All three are high dollar properties. And while you are so, so forthcoming with a wealth of information, how about posting your three Planning Commission Members businesses? We then can all see how they are connected to the real estate monster that you support over citizens.

We know that you’ll never support the Planning Commission being required to have members from every Ward, you’d have to give up 2 and that would dilute your power.

“Also, re: Planning Commission composition. A simple look at the City's website shows that there are six different zip codes represented on the Planning Commission -- from West Little Rock to downtown.”

Did you take the time and thought to research where the really live? Did you happen to notice the address of the Planning Commission members who use their business addresses on the city webpage?

Ok, all but two live in West LR if you must know!

Re: “Chipotle proposes more fast food, more traffic at Markham and University

LR’s Planning Commission is a joke! Planning, no unbridle expansion. When you have a body that is responsible for the city’s growth that is made up of realtors, contractors and related businesses, that are appointed by a city board of directors who answers to the CofC, instead of the people who elected them, you get pockets lined and deals behind closed doors which equals unbridle growth.

The Planning Commission should have representation by every Ward, not just two zip codes in West Little Rock.

Re: “KFC on West Markham robbed

I said this about crime in LR on Monday and I say it again today...

From the “Little Rock Red Light Roll” of 3 or so cars continuing through an intersection after the light has turned Red, to the recent and building level of armed robberies, to the LRPD over playing their hands in certain situations – Little Rock is spiraling out of control.

Citizens’ review of LRPD with zero tolerance of bad actions and zero tolerance by LRPD on all crimes is what is needed to break this cycle.

What is the over/under now on Little Rock’s murder rate for 2012? How many more will die or be robbed before there is any action? Where is the leadership by the City Manager, Mayor and Board of Directors?

Why is Jay and the CofC not up in arms over this (it scares the s%&t out of companies thinking of moving to LR)? Cabot, Benton, Bryant and all of the other bedroom communities love it, it builds their growth!

Little Rock will always remain a second tier city until this is addressed!

Merry Christmas Bruce, Mark, Erma, Ken, Stacy, Brad, Lance, Doris, B.J., Dean, Gene and Joan !!!
