Re: “Fluoride bill passes

the boneheads here know as much about fluoridated water as the idiots that voted for it.
first, there's a difference between filtering/chlorinating and fluoridating water. one makes it safe to drink and the other is to medicate the water since you're too stupid to take care of your kids yourself.
next, dentists support fluoridation. why? good question. i do know that the insurance company delta dental is paying the bill for the startup costs, if that tells you anything.
next, the fluoride used in potable water is classified as a hazardous waste. it's a by-product of phosphate plants. the fluoride dumped into drinking water does not resemble naturally occuring fluoride found in some water.
fluoride is a main ingredient in many anti-depressants.
interestingly, australia just released a report stating that the cdc's info is based on false presumptions. stating that the ONLY difference relating to tooth decay in fluoridated water and non-fluoridated water is that kids on fluoridated systems have their teeth exposed at a later time......meaning the decay is the same it just gets a later start.
don't buy it? i don't care. i work for a water system and have personally seen hfs eat through concrete, glass and pretty much anything it touches. i run a filter at my house to take it out.
look up an msds on it and see what the requirements are if there's a spill near a waterway and get back to me.
