Even more amazing is the fact that the Mayor carried the Quapaw Quarter yet he continues to push to have vacant homes in the area (Ward 1) razed. He thinks vacant houses are a gateway to crime-where the hell are the police to enforce the law and prevent the hookers and drug deals from going on. So what does the city have after razing the house a over grown weed lot that gets a Jim Walters type hom e in its place or in the case of South Cedar and Pine-a overgrown weed lot. I was personally told that he (mayor) intends on removing as many structures as possible from Ward 1. I can tell you this much -he will not get my vote EVER again. And to think he started his own historic preservation progarm "The Historic Alliance of Arkansas' or some lame title like that-all good on paper and yet poor on results-kinda like his term as mayor.
