Re: “DHS rule change threatens disabled care

Now how did DHS "lose the data" for the algorithm that determined the level of care. This is not believable. Either someone is lying or incompetent. Legal Services needs to depose Tami Harlan, the Deputy Director of medical services under oath. Let us see what Tami Harlan says.

Re: “While Puerto Ricans suffered, Trump golfed

So the POTUS is not supposed to play golf or have any type of break from work? Do you get breaks from your job from time to time to play golf or whatever. I guess Bill Clinton probably did other things to unwind. Wonder what that would be? Your need for political correctness is underwhelming.

Re: “Legal Aid wins attorney fees in suit against state Human Services

You are targeting the wrong person. The assistant director of Medicaid is Tammy Harlan who schemes and comes up with this and other ridiculous ideas. Leslie Rutledge has to defend her which is a difficult thing considering some of the stupid things Tami Harlan does. For example, she often represents managers at DHS. One time she did not do a formal investigation of a formal sexual harassment complaint and the state was sued and paid off rather than go to court. Some supervisor's favorite words are "Tammy Harlan said."

Re: “Duggar sisters file invasion of privacy lawsuit over molestation article

I like some others, do not agree with the Duggars, their religion, and their proclivity to try to put their beliefs onto others by actively working against gays and lesbians, however, this is not the question. The legal matter at question is whether the information was subject to release under FOIA or not.

Re: “Court filing shows nursing home owner cash transfer to Sen. Jake Files

It looks like my comments were scrambled. I cannot imagine who might have been offended. I will re post. It appears Jake Files has taken a bribe. Judges have been paid off and it is likely that for every incident we know about, there are several we do not know about. To shield himself from lawsuits all Morton has to do is provide good care, care that is required if the state is to receive federal funds and the state does receive federal funds for Long Term Care facility payments. Apparently Morton lacks the morals to provide such care and chooses to rig the system so that he cannot be sued. Where is low energy Asa Hutchinson? Where is the Republican leadership as their party heads the House, Senate, and Governor's office. It looks like the Republicans who have power are rigging the system and trying to protect their interests rather than the interests of the people they represent. Shame on them. I believe I am going to make a referral to the federal government so that they can investigate this matter as they are providing federal funds.

Re: “Court filing shows nursing home owner cash transfer to Sen. Jake Files

So Jake Files has taken a bribe and is guilty of a criminal offense. Why has there been no action taken. What is up with low energy Asa Hutchinson? What is up with the Republican Party? If Michael Morton does not want to be sued all he has to do is take care of his residents. Apparently he lacks the morals to do so and would rather rig the system so that he can't be sued. The fact that he has not been removed is absolutely due to those in power rigging the system and now they will be removed.

Re: “'Mother of all bombs' kills 36 in Afghanistan. One costs $16 million

Are those of you who are commenting on the cost of this weapon contending that the cost was incurred when the weapon was used? The cost of the weapon was incurred when the weapons were built in an Oklahoma factory by President Trump's predecessors who thought making the weapon was a good idea. It was a good idea to produce the weapon and use it when necessary, otherwise, a lot of money is spent for no purpose. This weapon was used and it destroyed an underground military command and control center and sent a strong message to our enemies. It is in the interest of the United States to eradicate radical Islamic extremists wherever they may be. I suppose some of you want to give them girl scout cookies instead. Olphart, since you were around when these GBU-43 bombs were being produced at a cost of $16 million a bomb, and that was before Trump was in office, were you protesting the money Obama and Bush spent on these weapons and advocating the money be spent on school lunches? Didn't think so. The intellectual dishonesty of many of you who supported your loser candidate is obvious. You are like Hillary Clinton, you tell half the story, lie about half of it, and think people are too stupid to figure it out. People are not too stupid to figure it out.
