  • Beware Republicans bearing gifts

On the Stepford Republican Caucus' legislative schedule is a bill seemingly meant to enhance the difficulties on use of eminent domain to take private property for other private uses.

Re: “Faulkner clerk gets slap on the wrist for dishonesty; she's running again

Cleburne County clerks office admitted under oath that they falsely notarized lease agreements by the thousands and then filed them not only in her records but in many surrounding counties including Faulkner, White and Van Buren.

The funniest part is that to see the deposition where they admitted it, you have to go to their office and ask the person who gave the deposition for a copy. Awkward.

Re: “The Chamber of Commerce crusade to curtail lawsuits

In the US Constitution everyone is guaranteed unrestricted access to the courts.

These anti Constitution jagoffs want to change that by having the legislative branch of government restrict citizens access to the judicial branch of government.

Re: “Nate Bell's shot at Boston heard 'round the world

Don't forget that Nate Bell is the jackass along with Jason Rapert that brought us HB1042 eminent domain for pipelines bill.

Both of these guys work for Koch Industries and the NRA and dozens of other corporations. Working for their constituents is a LOW priority as they choose to listen to the loudest and most agreeable to their view and then shout down, shut out, ignore and ridicule anyone that doesn't agree with them 100%.

These guys think they are invincible thanks to financial backing from Koch, AFP and others.

They need CONSTANT reminders they work for their CONSTITUENTS and not their BENEFACTORS.

Re: “I bet Tim Griffin did hustle out to the pipeline oil spill

What about AR HB 1042 that allows pipelines to take your land for their uses through eminent domain?

Don't want this happening in YOUR yard? TOUGH! Nate Bell and Jason Rapert think you should be forced to have it.

Re: “The stop-and-smell-the-tulips open line

Good to see Arkansas extreme energy extraction get a little press.

Is it any surprise that Scott Ausbrooks was muzzled considering that the AOGC board is appointed by Beebe.

Chad White is chair and Bekki White is his daughter who happens to be Ausbrooks boss. Surprised he even still employed by the state at all. Shale Caucus cheerleaders are probably calling for him to be fired even as we speak as everyone knows, no on speaks ill of the scared cow gas companies.
