Re: “State Rep. Mary Bentley threatens Game and Fish funding in encounter with wildlife officer

eLwood Ted Bentley mainly posted ads in our local newspaper the Petit Jean Country headlight. They don't have online archives. He had a bunch of stuff on his FB page and there was a blog going at the time but I can't find it now. I will keep looking.

Re: “State Rep. Mary Bentley threatens Game and Fish funding in encounter with wildlife officer

Ted Bentley is a Tea Party whack job. He ran for Sheriff here last time in Perry County and he came out with all sorts of wild allegations about our current Sheriff. Thankfully he was not elected. Made for some entertaining reading though in the local newspaper.

Re: “True adventures in the Little Rock paranormal

Sounds like an interesting class. Too bad it is only once a year. Good story, thanks. :)

Re: “Solicitor general bases attack on Planned Parenthood on debunked hearsay

There are really only 3 reasons women procure an abortion past 20 weeks gestation. To save the life of the mother, severe birth defects in the fetus or the inability to procure an abortion at an earlier date. If you are really concerned about abortions after 20 weeks the best thing to do is make birth control cheap/free and easy to access and make sure safe abortions especially pharmaceutical ones are easily accessed for every woman in the state. The reasons women are unable to get an abortion earlier generally are due to unnecessary restrictions (having to have multiple visits to the clinic, waiting periods, closing down abortion clinics over absurd regulations not made on other clinics) and the cost. It is terribly ironic to me that pro-lifers and their approach to ending abortions through chipping away at clinics and creating those unnecessary restrictions are actually increasing late term abortions and abortions in general by cutting out options for free and low cost birth control.
