Re: “Law firm won't defend Marriage Act

"God made you as you are, and no matter what, I will always love you with every being in my soul."

Ironic that we make reference to faith when religious irrationality is exactly what I see when I read through these comments. For a moment I thought I was on the faux nation blog with the level of stupidity before me. What we have here are people who WANT to be offended selectively interpreting esoteric statements in order to justify offense. News flash people, homosexuality is outside of the always has been. That is not to say it is immoral, but any activity that is practiced by such a small percentage of the population is by definition outside the norm. Second news flash, there is nothing offensive about referring to the gay lifestyle. To be offended by the concept of sexual preference is equally absurd. Few people are 100% gay or 100% straight...human sexuality is more complicated than that...and we all have our preferences. This argument is utterly absurd and devoid of all intellectual merit. I am stupider for having read it. Grow up people. And have enough sense not to attack someone who is obviously on your side.
