Re: “Gov. Asa Hutchinson: Syrian refugees unwelcome in Arkansas

"Give me your tired, your poor,
Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free,
The wretched refuse of your teeming shore.
Send these, the homeless, tempest-tossed to me,
I lift my lamp beside the golden door!"

Asa: "Lol no"

Re: “Arkansas conservatives react to same-sex marriage decision

I'm sure this comment section will result in all sorts of well mannered and level headed discussion. Just remember: it is better to remain silent and be thought a fool, than to open your mouth and remove all doubt.

Re: “Father and son turned away from "Muslim-free" Hot Springs gun range for being brown

For all the people saying a business can refuse "whoever they want", read up:…

Re: “Speaking of wreckage: Republican legislative majority makes big gains

Thank god, the insurance can finally drop those disgusting sick people, poor people, women, and all the other leaches on the system so that they can go back to making money.

Re: “Food Feedback Friday: Sweethearts edition

At ate Cafe Prego the other week and had the veal piccata. It was fantastic, and just the right serving size.

Re: “Food Feedback Friday: cross-eyed, clearing out, and couscous

It's funny that people mention the potato salad at Whole Hog. It's delicious, but it's not their invention. They may add some bacon or meat to it, but it a Sysco product. I've had the same potato salad at the Flying Saucer and Cregeen's.

Re: “Doh! Homer's goes down swinging

I went to Homer's West once and found it exactly as you described. The chicken fried steak seemed to be frozen food-service fare, and the mashed potatoes were somehow worse than Betty Crocker dried potato flakes. I will not be dining there again.
