Re: “Robinson Center renovation gets underway

In the meantime, how much would it cost to put hooks in all of the women's restroom stalls? With no hook on the stall door, what is a lady to do with her purse? The lines for using the women's restrooms at intermission are so long, and the lines would move more quickly with doors that really locked, hooks on all the doors, and paper toilet seat covers. Check out the stalls at the airport, the Clinton library, or Sam's Warehouse. Surely we can do better for our music hall.

Re: “Severance tax petitions far short on signatures

If you want to support the increased severance tax, there was an opportunity today to sign at the entrance of the downtown library. I signed, and my husband signed at his book club Monday night. Arkansas needs this money to repair the roads and to bring our severance tax to what surrounding states are charging. If you read the true story, no jobs will be lost. If Dustin McDaniel continues his opposition, he will lose our votes, our friends, and families at the voting booth.
