Re: “St. Joseph's farm head resigns: UPDATE

JDrake, why so cynical? Of course there's more than meets the eye. That doesn't mean it's negative. The article didn't say Hardin left in a cloud of shame, it just said they were restructuring things. Any successful enterprise that includes boards, volunteers, business plans, etc will flex as needed. Given that St. Joseph's is only just now finishing its first year, now seems like a natural time to make some tweaks. Google Mr Hardin sometime and get ready to be impressed. Argenta Farmer's Market, past president of the farmer's market association, mentor/teacher/advocate for struggling farmers across the state. He even testified before Congress on behalf of small farmers to influence the current farm bill. He obviously could be making a lot of money instead of creating a place for the community, providing a marketplace for local farmers, teaching young people, and bringing life to an abandoned dinosaur on the hill there in NLR. I, for one, am assuming the best here.
