Re: “Racial disparity in school suspensions

I am a teacher in a public high school. I find, like prison, those who are suspended tend to come from single parent families or zero parent families (group homes, foster children, abandoned children, etc.). The most common thread in those who are in prison, the lack of both parents (let me clarify: MALE & FEMALE) in the home raising the child. maybe we should look at the destructive "social give away" policies of welfare and how they reward females with children who DON"T have a HUSBAND. Wow! Our leaders were really thinking there! Destroy the family by rewarding those who will do it for money...but that also means the next generation is screwed up to...almost seems like a devious plan to keep everyone dependent on the government and make families weaker...just say'n.
