Re: “County officials blindsided by Lake Maumelle watershed amendment

DOES anyone in Little Rock know about the OIL pipeline running along the banks of the lake Maumelle? Remember Mayflower - same line. Little Rock::: (anyone??) Has any one thought about the deer hunters in this area shooting a hole in the OIL pipeline?? I guess they're not paying attention. Villins and Blantley are derilicts in their duty to inform people in Little Rock - too busy with social events and feelgood articles that sell copy. There objective is different -- as money talks. Their priorties are subject to other causes I think. What do you think?? See quote above by Brandley: "No deal lauded by the Kochs lobbyist is a good deal for the public interest." ??? Delay is defeat of watershed regulation.."??? Typical parsing to maintain intellectual?/status at the big boy cocktail parties. We know by our instincts what is going on- and it is big. Thank you Justice Denton to keep the balance, balanced.
Also Ark Times thank you for this place to express my opinion. This is the American way.

Re: “County officials blindsided by Lake Maumelle watershed amendment

Viewing the likes/dislikes- maybe people just are too busy in their city (Little Rock) lives to care. Everyone wants clean drinking water DUH!!!.
Max Brantley and Buddy Villins can tell you slanted facts if they want to. They have other interests.
The area up there is PRISTINE land. BIG Money to be made folks. People in the city know nothing about the landowner's record who have worked all their lives to buy into this area and continue to be good environmental stewards. See any Arkansas Times scientific backed press releases about how landowners are causing pollution ??? It is easy emotional argument for them to say "we must protect the lake from pollution" and no data to back it up. Advantage for Villins People: in Little Rock folks think there is a big threat all of a sudden since Villins says it and the Arkansas leaning press just slants further. Why are these leaders pushing this land development scheme do you think?? Answer: It is competition before your eyes. Connections...
Hey my speculation is 10x BETTER than Brantley/Villins.

No speculation before your eyes:
1.Justice Denton is the hero of the little people.
2.The little people will be hurt in the outcome if Justice Denton is not supported..
