Re: “More reminders of how bad Arkansas's prison, parole and probation systems are

This is a email i sent to the governor
Everyone wants to complain about overcrowding but no one wants to acknowledge that the system is broken from the inside records department dismisses complaints on time discrepancy even with there own words will tell you a inmates time needed and time served but will refuse to correct a human clerical error its disquieting how a records supervisor
Can afirm amount of time needed and then threaten an inmate by telling them shut sit down and quit rocking the boat rather than taking 5 minutes to correct the problem they ott t be ashamed
So Asa if you truly want to fix overcrowding get rid of the adc employes who are there to punch a clock and retire there is no shame in admitting an error has occured however in turning a blind eye to them then ashamed you dhould be

Well i now see that there is no priorty to inmates with clerical errors in there jackets.
I am apauled that with a system as broken as the current one that you along with Jada Lawrence would just whole heartily believe that there is no error in my husbands record
Even with a court order of sentence directly in front you
Knowing how adc breaks there time down You wont spend just 15 to 20 minutes calculating time needed for parole
After doing that you would see that the problem is in the TE date it is incorrect it doesnt reflect an equal amout of time needed for parole it is 8 months past time needed. Or as the records department caluclates in days so in either mathematical situation there is an error in his date
You probably wont even finish this or maybe you will follow Jada Lawrence and email me back and address me as miss garner very petty of her.
My name is Pamela Kaye Holingsworth Porter i was born in this state i shook hands with the govenor Oct.10 ,2016 at my graduation from drug court i am educated i am articulate and i am angry
1409 days is what ADC records says Dean must complete and ma'am he has surpassed that as of Oct. 27 he completed 1409 days it is simple math no fancy problem solving nothing that if looked can not be seen
But prison overcrowding its a mess right
100 men in his unit 20 ssa they have similar date issues ok so lets say 5 outta those 20 actually have an error
5 beds empty there
Now on a larger scale 18,000 inmates if there are errors there let say 1 outta every 100 look more empty beds oh right
The inmates cant really complain because the error is caused by the people who work in the system that is in total control of when they will get there freedom
And i am sure that when you speak to these adc employees they are oh so sweet and oh so kind you are not an inmate you could have there job
That is a no brainer so to think that my husband wasnt told to shut his mouth and stop rocking the boat well i guess it depends on how truthful one is to thereself if they dont want to see that as a posibilty "blinders"
I am not trying to make your job hard i only want to be heard and i am going to have to persue this on my own
Thank you for your ear wish this was not were my passion had to lie right now i am strong but i am tired.
And there are so many great causes that i could be focused on
