Re: “Womack gets plucked by 'Last Week Tonight with John Oliver'

I just want to point out that when my son was diagnosed with an allergy to corn 8 years ago, we had to cut out a lot of foods and it looked like the love affair with high fructose corn syrup would never end, but due to the diligence of some people, we now have a lot of grocery store products that advertise in big letters: NO HIGH FRUCTOSE CORN SYRUP. This is no different. The big 4 chicken companies are bullies. Beating the bully means that everyone else needs to stand up to them. I believe it can be done.

Re: “Womack gets plucked by 'Last Week Tonight with John Oliver'

I disagree with Elwood. My husband would get sick every time I bought Tyson or Pilgrim chicken from Walmart. I had to stop buying it. No wonder he got sick from sickly, balding chickens. Just ask WOMACK if he'd like to live like one of those chickens--no sun, no wind, just food and water...
In Georgia, it is technically illegal to have chickens unless you own 5 acres, but we see chickens in older subdivisions and on small properties. Recently, friends of ours were charged for having chickens and in the end, all that happened was that she could keep all the hens, but no roosters, since their crowing would disturb the neighbors. If we get a fence, in a new subdivision, its as private as having a dog, so we can eat chicken the way God intended it to live--happy and healthy.
Pray, everyone. God can do what we cannot. Four chicken companies are no match for the All Mighty.
