Re: “TV producer Bryant Huddleston disinvited as Imboden Ark., high school graduation speaker because he's gay

Speaking to TheTruthOnly - I don't hate you. How could I hate you if I don't even know you? And why would I hate you because of a statement you make? I think you must be reading the comments with a jaundiced eye. As far as I can tell, there in only one "hateful" comment that was posted. The rest are supportive comments for a man who has been judged and convicted before he even had a chance to speak.

And.... I also agree with you on one point.... People DO want him to speak because he is gay! Yep. That's right. People want gay people to speak. They want black people to speak. They want liberal people to speak - conservatives to speak, good old southern boys to speak, women to speak, foreign born folks to speak.... ANYONE to speak who can give hope and motivation to all our young people out there who are searching for their place in this world. They want this because this world is filled with people of all different walks, thoughts, ideas, and potential. Our Arkansas high school graduates are going out into this world and, hopefully, become well-rounded, open-minded, successful and happy individuals. I'm quite sure that Mr. Huddleston would have given them a wonderful send off, filled with inspiration and good information on work ethic - without any hint of the "gay agenda". That's really almost laughable!

I certainly hope that the kids at this high school have been prepared to use their own minds. And I hope they will see this as a first "lesson" on how NOT to treat their fellow human beings.
