Re: “Gas pipelines -- a legal obstacle

I have close to twenty acers with lake front in Drasco Ar. near Heber Springs. It is vacation property with cabin. I watch bald eagles, deer, fox, badger and even seen something game and fish said does not exsist, maybe because of politics, which is purr-fect to me. But I guarantee my grandchild is not allowed out at night. Gas offers are coming like crazy. I tuned in on GasLand last night on TV. I do not think people realize due to Vice President Chenny there is no protection from chem. pollution due to hydro drilling. Each land owner has the rights to sue after damage to land and water source. After you prove this you are bought off. This has been wrapped up backwards and forwards by politics, gas lobiest have been paid well. I have been told if you do not lease out they will take it any way. It is about the saddest thing for such a beautifull area. On this program I watched I seen people light there kitchen faucett on fire. Stick a inch hole by a stream and light it on fire. After talking to everyone the only recourse is to take your check, and try to find the gas company with the less complants against it. Everyone is going thur this. Very regrettably this is what you have. I hope it goes well for this beautiful area. It is the chemicals used with the hydro. Bacially it sounded like they had to melt mud to get gas. Randy
