Re: “Istanbul is a palate pleaser

One of the most underrated restaurants in Little Rock. I love the high quality Medittearean fare they consistently serve at Istanbul.

Re: “Deaditerranean

Wow, we tried Zoe's three times and have had fresh & delicious food. I'm quite surprised by this review.

Re: “Del Frisco's delights — mostly

This place will do well with the Chenal Valley crowd that doesn't mind overpaying for dining. I went to a soft opening and did enjoy the Prime Steak sandwich and fries. I'm not I would enjoyed the $14 price tag but that's the way it goes. The crab cake sounds good but at that size and price I would never ordered it. In addition a lobster sauce served with a crab cake is unnecessary and over the top. I gave up years ago trying to find real MD crab cakes in AR. There is no way in hell I'm paying $21 for fish & chips here when The Pantry has the best in town for considerably less of a price tag. This place is on the special occasion agenda for me given the price point. The bar and outdoor dining areas are gorgeous.

Re: “Pizza, burgers, tacos and more: the top ten top fives

No love for Lost 40 brew? Love Honey Bock is my personal favorite beer in town. In my opinion The Pantry is the best dinner spot in town. As well as Maddie's place for lunch and dinner. I would have NYPD pizza on my top five pizza list as well. The Apple hand pie from Boulevard Bistro is in my top 5 desserts. Forty Two is on my top five lunch spots.

Re: “Heights Taco and Tamale is a fantastic throwback

The best tamales in Little Rock for sure. The pickled fried chicken tacos may be the best tacos I've ever eaten anywhere. For that praise I must offer that charging $14.75 for a half pound of gulf shrimp is extremely high. I also don't care for shrimp is the shell served cold. I love hot Old Bay seasoned steamed shrimp with onions but I realize I don't live in Baltimore any longer. :(

Re: “Head to the Hive with the Times (and see art, too!)

Wow this sounds like a great day trip. We have plans to head there on 5/9. I hope you guys do more of these kind of day trips.

Re: “Heights Taco and Tamale is a fantastic throwback

Just had a phenomenal lunch there. The pickled chicken taco is the single most flavorful taco I've ever eaten. The Delta tamales are the best here in Little Rock. So moist and spiced perfectly. Can't wait to go back and take in the beautiful bar and drinks.
