Re: “ACLU raises questions about Maumelle High School assembly, for black students only, on gang violence

I'm tired of this nonsense. To say white people commit most of the crimes in LR or NLR is ridiculous. While I certainly don't believe that this assembly should have been for only one race, let's look at the numbers before we vilify the kids who were left out of this meeting. These are combined NLRD and Maumelle PD (the vast majority of these students come from these 2 cities) arrest numbers for 2014:

Aggravated Assault - white, 26; black, 97
Simple Assault - white, 117; black, 254
Narcotics - white, 273; black, 399
Disorderly Conduct - white, 37; black, 161
DUI/Drunkeness - white, 388; black, 369
Total Group A Violations - white, 1093; black, 1755
Total Group B Violations - white, 1687; black, 3377

Any questions?
