Re: “Tom Cotton continues two-year blockade of judge confirmations

If anyone wanted to take down Cotton, all they have to do is thoroughly investigate his connections and dealings with John Goodson. Goodson has essentially abandoned the practice of law (for good reason given he has been convicted of abusing the judicial process by Judge Holmes) and makes his money lobbying. His ONLY skill as a lobbyist is his access to Cotton, and people will pay a lot for access to a US Sentator. There are seedy--very seedy reasons--a former Democratic trial lawyer is the person with the closest access to Cotton. We have all heard the autrocious rumors about why Cotton and Goodson are close, but it will take a journalist (or possible attorney from the DOJ's public) corruption division to expose this to the public. With Cotton's obstructionism, one would think the Democratic party would pay more attention to this and eliminate Cotton from public life.
