My father in law built this house from WW2 materials he bought cheap. The walls were stainless steel panels from landing decks the Seabees used for quick runways. Early recycler wouldn't you say? They were then plastered for the outside walls. He told us that there weren't many 90degree corners in the whole house. The house has a laundry chute all the way to the basement and Anything on the floor (out of place) went down it. Long trip to retrieve.
The wall around the pool was also constructed of SS decking.
Later Mr Kerby built a house at 418 Skyline and even later I built one for his family at 324 Skyline which has stayed in the family, so to speak. His youngest daughter's in laws bought it many years later. We used recycled lumber and steel in it also.

Jack had a heart as big as the workld, even when he was younger and drinking. He will alsways be Daddy Jack, man of a thousand hearts, to me. 1959 to 2015
