Re: “Attorney general disputes theory that legislature passed open carry gun law by inference

McDaniel was wrong, according to the Arkansas Supreme Court. So was his successor. Why do yall keep electing these clowns?

Re: “Governor tells State Police 'open carry' is the law in Arkansas

Two dislikes from people who couldn't even come up with some sort of rebuttal? Yes, I dislike that there are many people commenting here who don't understand, support, or seem to want freedom. Is that what you meant? Do you have proof that what I wrote is not true? By the way, the highest court in Arkansas has spoken. Hutchinson and Rutledge were wrong, just as they have been told all along.

Re: “Attorney general OKs open carry with 'caveats,' suggestion for clarification

3 years into permitless carry and no problems. Might want to update this article. The guy at McDonald's appealed the municipal court's erroneous conviction and the appeals court declined to prosecute. Lastly, you can't get open carry out of the law without conceding that concealed carry is also decriminalized. "on or about one's person" doesn't prohibit concealed carry.

Re: “Tom Cotton campaign's dirty telephone tricks

I wouldn't vote for either side. If Cotton's campaign put people up to providing blatantly false information and then take credit for it, then he's too stupid to be in any position of power. I think it is more likely that whoever is putting out the calls is the guy who will benefit the most from low voter turn out. However, if that person is Cotton, then maybe his opponent commissioned the calls and intentionally blamed them on Cotton to hurt Cotton's campaign. Hell, I don't know. It's politics. They are politicians. No telling what they will do.
