I think the this is just another obvious move by an Arkansas publication to move a youngster into this position. It'll be no surprise when ABPG names the pre-pubescent-looking Lance Turner as President. The Arkansas Times started this unfortunate trend in 2011 by elevating Lindsay Millar up to the Editor position vacated by Max Brantley. Millar, who seems to only be interested in writing about topics relevant to the millennial generation, was an inappropriate choice and, if ABPG follows suit, Turner will likewise be the wrong choice. Tech skills alone don't turn young people into professionals but these media organizations have brainwashed themselves into believing that lie. It's a shame we're losing the oversight of older folks because of this erroneous, misguided thinking. For the most part my readership of Ark. Times ended a year ago, and I suspect the same is pending for Ark. Business.
