Again, we hear the weak excuse that someone didn't know blackface was a "thing." Well, Mr. School Board Member, if you didn't know blackface was a "thing", how are you in any way qualified to be on the school board? And even if your excuse were truth, you knew that dressing up that way was ridicule, which is why you thought it was funny. You say you'd never hurt kids - but you already did. You insulted the intelligence of black students with your sign errors, you insulted the value of their lives by mocking the slogan Black Lives Matter, and you insulted their appearance by putting black on your face and rotten teeth in your mouth.

You didn't think that was racist? Well, it IS.
You didn't think it was hateful? It IS.
You think saying 'oh, my bad, sorry' absolves you from responsibility or makes up for being an utter ass? It does NOT.
