Re: “Walter was the worst

Such a cringe-worthy review... I almost feel sorry for the critic.

-One does not simply 'absent-mindedly' comp through a Steely Dan song haha... I mean do you even count, bro?
-The front of house levels are beyond the control of the individual musicians, especially in a band of this size. If the levels were that bad even near the desk, you'd want to take it up with the sound engineer mixing the gig. Walter would have been hearing his own mix through his monitor and the stage sound. He'd have no way of knowing if it's being mixed well in the front of house, or how well the room sounds in every section.
-Walter had a dry, bitter sense of humour. Most people know this as a result of his writing for Steely Dan. I'm not saying his joke wasn't offensive, but it's not at all out of character.

This review reads like you had no idea what you were seeing/hearing. It's like if a sports writer reviewed Swan Lake, and complained that Siegfried and Odette were hopeless and only beat Rothbart on a technicality lol.

RIP Walter Becker! Absolute legend.
