Re: “Paul Ryan's budget plan was so bad that even Rep. Mike Ross was against it

I like to think of myself as a left wing Republican.... a Republican of the days of Eisenhower.... and I have no compassion for those who don't feel comfortable if they can't stuff a billion into their pillow.

Our country, based on free enterprise and capitalism, does allow those with the gumption and grit to excel financially, and sometimes fail financially. This is the wonderful part of our economic structure. However, when becoming successful, there are many who claim it is all their doing and they are more than justified in keeping all the treasure for themselves. Although they constantly harp on their struggle to success, they don't mention the industrial revenue bonds given them by the local city... bonds that usually remain unpaid forever. I toured Boeing Co. twenty years ago and saw a milling machine the size of a RR boxcar.... it said "property of the US Air Force" on the side of the machine. Most of those machines, at the end of a particular contract, are given to those companies for pennies on the dollar.

It's all smoke and mirrors.... the system is now designed so no common individual can ever tell what is going on, but one thing is for sure: When the manufacturers go offshore and devastate our economic as well as our social system, they are clearly telling us a simple fact - they want it all - every penny. That is a simple fact - they just want every penny they can squeeze into their pocket and the hell with the remaining economy in North America. The hell with those who worked all the overtime to make them a success... and their families.... and their future... just give me every penny.

Iceland has had a big turnover in their Constitution.... after the big bust in 2008 and they became aware they were left holding the bag by many offshore portfolio managers and they went bankrupt, they tore up the old Constitution and created a new one. The design was to be done by commoners.... teachers, doctors, craftsmen and the like. Lawyers were not allowed to participate in certain parts of the creation.

We now are stuck with groups that have us in a throathold and until they prosecute a few thousand on Wall Street and in the Banking System, there is little chance of recovery.

They are now sweeping the final dregs of our economy - taking from the poor, the impoverished, and the aged.... all while blaming the current administration, and yet, every wound we've received has come from prior administrations.... every one.

Stand firm at the next election and God Bless America.
