Re: “Saline County Sheriff Bruce Pennington to resign

Do you have any info on the rumor that the Sheriff showed up at work intoxicated one day this week? Curious. Sad situation for all.

Re: “TGIF line is open

What really happened with the Sookie Stackhouse last book is someone posted the spoiler ending. Thousands canceled their preorders from Amazon. She's pissed she lost money. As an avid reader of middle age woman smut, Charlaine Harris lost my money three books ago. BTW, I know the spoiler and don't waste your money. Too bad, for a while it was a fun read.

Re: “The ups and downs of Ozark Country Kitchen

Actually I think the Tak Nobinsor comments are hilarious and true. Now where can I get good grits with my breakfast?

Re: “Scratch that Democratic 'Save Our Session' rally

Dixie Democrats think the "Save our session" will = "Save our seats." Not gonna happen. I knew how Repug's were going to vote but Democrats lied to us about their votes. My Dixie Demo Rep. will have an opponent. That's a promise.

Re: “Lackluster Mexican fare at La Casa Real

I agree about all the La Hacienda's being different. I've been going to the Hot Springs location since they opened. Their children were near my kids ages. I watch them grow up and the staff stay mostly the same. Being regulars, La Hacienda offered us a few perks that I admit, we enjoyed. But unlike Mike we now travel from Hot Springs to Benton for La Hacienda. It's far closer to the original that we loved so much. If I order a spicy dish, I get a spicy dish at Benton. At HS I have to remind them several times...spicy. The flavor and quality is better in Benton and the menu has different offerings. We tried Little Rock once and never went back.

Don't be so quick to give the nut Mauch the victory. I'm hearing different from folks inside the Hot Spring County courthouse. District 26 is not decided yet.
