Re: “Medical marijuana advocates unhappy with Attorney General Leslie Rutledge blocking ballot iniative

She's an idiot and so is everyone that works for her and drinks the Koolaid. I am absolutely so frustrated with the leadership in this state. Why do the citizens not understand who they are voting for when they vote for Rs.

Re: “Capital murder case ends in plea bargain

Jeff Rosenzweig is the smartest person and lawyer I know and one of the most well-respected attorneys in Arkansas. What the article does not make clear also is that Phillip Wilson is a well known respected attorney and Norman Frisby is a deputy prosecuting attorney. These attorneys are not going to risk their careers spreading tales. It is unbelievable what the Arkansas Supreme Court thinks is appropriate behavior. Much less, Judge Williams who at least at one point was on the Judicial Discipline Committee. I am gobsmacked that no one has actually filed a judicial complaint on Williams. Embarrassing. Please Arkansas voters, wake up! The judiciary is supposed to be nonpartisan and impartial.

Re: “Governor names another task force, this one on youth justice

I am pretty sure Casey Beard is a juvenile court public defender, not a prosecutor.

So Raperr understands separation of powers when it works to his advantage, but dismisses it when he does not like the results.

Re: “A modest proposal: Death to infidels

I knew some Arkansans had become radical in their religious beliefs, but this is horrifying.

Re: “State official pay commission announced

I am with cbb about the mileage reimbursement rate. Right now legislators get the federal rate of .585 cents per mile and regular state employees get the state rate of .42 cents per mile which is set by those same legislators. Change that first. Then go from there.
