I just read about Fred in the Times West Virginian (Fairmont, WV), I hope Fred gets well, if not well than better. There was a dog in the family before I was born, I've loved dogs all of my 81, almost 82 years, the current love of my life is Jack, a black Lab who loves his morning butt scratch. My husband did do this little thing for Jack, since Tom's death May 9, 2014, I have the honor, Jack belongs to a grandson. Waiting to hear about Fred.

The setting for the memorial, in Court Square Park across from the Phillips County courthouse in Helena, has drawn some questions from local community members.
