Re: “The evening line

Being an active United Methodist, living in Benton County - I was intrigued by the Rev. T Nicholas Evans in Bentonville starting a petition on I cannot find a listing for a person of that name (or combination of initials with the last name Evans) in Benton County - nor can I find a listing on the Arkansas United Methodist website for UM pastor of that name in the state. Unless he is from another conference (ie out of state) or has been retired for a VERY long time - I find this a bit - hmmmm - unusual? I've checked with some of my pastor and retired pastor buddies - and nobody else has heard of him either.

I have been known to sign petitions if I agree with the stand on the issue - but this one just feels a bit off. Can't prove it - just sharing what I have (or haven't) found.
