Re: “The spat on the hat UPDATE

Sister, I agree with you as well. I have never been to the stadium in Fayetteville, but I have been to War Memorial stadium for some exciting games even though the Hogs seem to beat us there too often. I came across this blog when I was visiting, and still check in on you folks now and then.
The Hog fans are all stirred into a frenzy this year, and I anticipate some huge disappointment come late November. You seem to be pretty football savy. Maybe you need to apply at the University as the SID.
Anyway the hat lady didn't seem to like her job, but as usual the media needs a story to fill air time and folks like stuff like this to get excited over. If this were a man who did the same, would there be an equivalent uproar? I think not.

Re: “The spat on the hat UPDATE

She facebooked and twittered negatives about her job before the lying about the hat. Check weather underground historical data, no rain and mid 90's to 100 degrees in Rogers. She should have been wearing a big ole straw hat. I wonder how many of her friends were told whe would wear the gator hat to a Pig practice?
She has no credibility, and she was fired, the hat may have been the last straw. I don't blame Petrino for bringing it up like he did.
I'm back home in Bayou Country so I think it should have been a LSU Tigers hat !!!! At least they play each other every year.
Sister, you could move to Louisiana and be my PR person, I seem to get into trouble a lot.

Re: “Stimulus money for ducks

As a Louisiana boy, I am happy to see money for the duck habitat, but I am not happy to see it coming from Federal Stimulus money. There is no stimulus to the economy for maintaining sporting habitat.

Clearly there is a lot of "unspent" stimulus money and these people in our government can not see that debt reduction is MORE important to the economy than spending money that we actually do not have on things that do NOT benefit the taxpayers and citizens of the U.S.

#%&@ a duck. Cut spending and pay down debt! Is that really hard to understand?

Re: “City workers accept pay freeze

Government employees and union workers are the some of the few that have been able to avoid pay cuts as most private employers have had to reduce wages or benefits (or lay people off) to survive. 40 hours off in lieu of 3% cash is the same as about a 2% increase actually, so where is the sacrifice here?

All of you folks that don't like hate, sure seem to hate those who work hard and believe differently from you. Why is that?

Re: “And now

Norma, let it go. You are way too "self" for me. I know better than to comment and become the focus of your wrath, but then again, I do not care so I comment anyway. I'm still a newbie to this blog and don't post much, but you are not "so much better" than the rest of us.

Re: “Alotian Injury

Roland has no logic.
Why are none of you who whine about the wealthy ever complaining about the poor education system, which happens to be at the root of the disparity in the ability of people to earn a better living?

Re: “Morning drive time

Seriously? I should allocate some of my taxes to her so she can have a vehicle to drive? I have had company vehicles for years, and I pay taxes on the personal use miles I log which include my commute to and from the office, trips to the golf course on Saturdays and other personal uses.
This woman does not have a clue.
