Re: “Throw 'em out

You know what, I've concluded that the ignorant vomitus of this article stoops your state to our same level of absurdity! Build a wall around our state? That's ridiculous and inhumane. Plus, I dare you to build a wall around our state. Don't forget we have Fort Jackson, Shaw AFB, McEntire AFB, Charleston AFB, Paris Island, as well as a nuclear power plant! Oh, and while we're on the topic of my adulterous governor, let's take a moment to think about our adulterous former president. Remind me, where's he from? Oh yea Arkansas.

So let's think here, what's the best thing to ever come out of Arkansas? I say I-40. Ha

Re: “Throw 'em out

Hey chill out, besides the "good ol' boys" and "church moms," there's a very diverse population in South Carolina, with people of all sorts of stances and interests that aren't in line with the grievous Republican party. You think you're embarrassed about South Carolina's politicians? Just imagine being a native, young college student here and having to bear through all this! We can all agree that we need to sweep out some of the trash in our government, and it's up to its citizens to do that! And I can affirm that the SC population is generally more ignorant than much of the rest of the nation, but your state is not much better! Aside from that, South Carolina is a beautiful state with a lot to offer. Just don't go to Myrtle Beach-- Charleston is much nicer, and less tacky.

Oh and South Carolina doesn't care if it deserves federal dollars, because we don't want federal dollars! But please, don't discount (at least not me) the warm, hospitable people of South Carolina because of the antics of South Carolina politicians. Just enjoy the insanity, and revel in the humor of the joke that is South Carolina politics! South Carolina has a very rich history that is a critical piece of the overall American story. We are just continuing to contribute to it...

My thoughts go out to the victims of the tragedy at the campground.
