Re: “In this week's Times

This is in response to "Heights Observer" concerning his comment on February 1, 2012 at 11:29 AM.

Since you are so concerned with the profile picture on Andi's Facebook that you posted comments and a link to her picture, let's all be clear on something. She has a page for those colleagues and potential clients that you wrote about. It's called "Andi Davis Law Firm". It seems like it would be hard to miss if you typed in her name unless you were just determined to jump on here and post your sarcastic comments about how modest she is. True, it's not as modest as your picture of the street sign of the heights, but maybe this is just another case of jealousy.

I have seen her around twenty times and have never seen her putting anything on display. She shows even less skin in the courtroom so before you comment on something, do a little more research and get your facts strait.

Re: “The Hot Springs woman in the paper mask

I have a few things I would like to say to "wwillie" who made a comment here on February 1, 2012. Do you really think that just because you have worked and lived in Hot Springs and met both Andi Davis and Marcia Hearnsberger that the statements that Andi is saying are not true? It sounds like you consider yourself an expert on this subject so please explain this to the rest of the "simple folk".

Just because you have had a different experience with Marcia Hearnsberger does not mean that Andi is wrong or even exaggerating her own experience with the judge. I seriously doubt that someone in Andi's position who has to deal with Marcia Hearnsberger on a regular basis would come up with a story like this and make it harder on herself unless it was true and wanted to do something about it. It would be a complete waste of time and would only make her job more difficult if these things didn't actually happen. It would also jeopardize her clients cases to make such accusations if they were indeed false.

Your experience with this judge may have been different, but that doesn't mean that Marcia Hearnsberger is incapable of mistreating someone else. Judges and law enforcement officials are convicted of way worse things than these all the time so you should really reconsider if you actually believe a judge would not do some ridiculous things such as these, especially once they are on their power trip and maybe feel threatened or jealous.

Since this story isn't exactly what you think should be "passing for journalism these days", and you are, in part, blaming "the shape we are in as a country" on The Arkansas Times for not "vetting at all regarding this tripe of a story or its source", then maybe you should just delete your account because they report on stories that are not up to your standard of journalistic excellence. I guess you think they should just sweep this story under the rug like you would have done. How would we keep our elected officials honest and fair if we just kept silent about things we believed were unjust? Maybe if more people like Andi Davis spoke out about injustices like this then our country would be in a lot better shape. I think it is you, Mr. "wwillie", who should do more vetting before trying to discredit someones personal and professional account of what has happened to them.

PS: Next time, please speak for yourself when you say that WE are lucky to have Marcia Hearnsberger.

PPS: It's a real shame she beat you when you ran against her especially since you seem so unbiased.
