Re: “Cheese dip expert sets Texans, politicians straight on the national food of Arkansas

Mostly this is a lot of silly drama over a fun and delicious indulgent appetizer. It's the Wall Street Journal that made a big deal out of it! Real Southern Arkansas country farm fresh cooking has nothing to do with cheese dip.

My great grandmother, Ruby Thomas, would have a lot to say about that!

Re: “Food truck v. restaurant

Great food and great service served in a clean and comfortable space is the key to the restaurant business. I support all local restaurants, and food trucks, who follow this basic principal with integrity.

Re: “Local Lime opens in Promenade at Chenal

Joel! To assume it was me is wrong on SO many levels. For one, I would never treat any person poorly, (id rather die). For two, I will personally track down this employee and determine wether they need to work somewhere else (which seems likely).
As the the couple that had a bad experience. Please call or email me, I would SO appreciate it. Scottychef@aol.com, 501-680-9902.

Re: “Juanita's is moving to the River Market

To the ignorant people criticizing Lisa McNeir (the landlord)...

Lisa, because she is extremely kind, has let the current tenet, without a lease, and for about $3.07 per square foot, stay in the building for over a year.

To break even on the notes, insurance, and property taxes, Lisa would need about $6.00 a square foot, (far below market rate and EXTREMELY fair).

Lisa simply wanted the tenet to cover her monthly costs, much less than any other landlord in town would hope for (most people try to make profit as well needless to say).

Who ever the idiot is that called Lisa "bull headed" needs to call me so I can give them a piece of my mind.

She is one of the kindest and most caring people in the State of Arkansas by far.
