Seeking exemption 

Through July 27, these bars and restaurants in Pulaski County had applied for exemption from the new state smoking law, saying they won’t admit anyone under 21:

• Chicot Entertainment, Mabelvale

• Count Pulaski Club, Jacksonville

• Crazee’s Cool Cafe, Little Rock

• Electric Cowboy, Little Rock

• Goal Post, North Little Rock

• Long Branch Saloon, Little Rock

• Lucky’s Sports Bar and Grill, Maumelle

• Markham Street Grill and Pub, Little Rock

• Mick’s Barb-B-Q, North Little Rock

• My Friend’s Place, North Little Rock

• Peaches, Jacksonville

• Pit BarBQ and Grill, Little Rock

• Powerhouse Bar and Grill, Sherwood

• Reno’s Argenta Cafe, North Little Rock

• Rock City Lounge, Little Rock

• Underground Pub, Little Rock
