Did anything good ever happen at Buice Drugstore?

Re: “Group announces LGBT kiss-in at Sen. Jason Rapert's office

So, Stanley is out of town next week, eh? Or at least he's on Priceline right now...

Re: “Bloomberg: Stephens family spending against Trump at $3.5 million

What a douchenozzle. Privilege and wealth handed to him on a silver platter and he fancies himself a musician/social commentator. Even the cover for the original album from his "prog rock" band (yanked out from under him by daddy) was shot at the CCLR. Stay classy, Junior.

Re: “Jason Rapert mad at "group of atheists" for Ten Commandments monument criticism

Oh, Stanley -- you never fail to fail us. We'd all be laughing at you if you weren't such a sad and pathetic little man.

So we shake our heads and count the days until you are term limited and can only fleece your flock and your clients; and you finally get your grubby mitts hands out of the taxpayers' pockets. And uteri.

Re: “Kane Webb to lead Arkansas Parks and Tourism

This cat is going to start closing/selling parks. It's a page right out of the Oklahoma playbook. Except there are no American Indian tribes here to take them over. They'll just be gone. Enjoy them while you can.

Re: “Rapert urges ban on Muslim entry to U.S.

Rapert is such a tool.

• Terrorism is built on fear. It’s right there in the name. And if the terrorists are successful in forcing you fear the refugees -- it worked. You are afraid of terrorists. (Terrorists - 1, Rapert - 0)
• ISIS WANTS you to reject them. They are trying to build a state and it cannot be done if the people upon whose backs it would be built are welcomed into other countries. Rejecting them is handing ISIS a major win.
• We hear so often that the U.S. is a Christian nation built on Christian principles. Which Christian principle says turn your backs on and reject those who are in need? All I can find is, “that which you do unto the least of my brothers, you also do unto me.” And, “This is my commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you.” Even if you aren’t religious -- there is still a moral obligation to help.
• The U.S. government doesn't simply wave in anyone who applies for asylum. It has a thorough program to screen out criminals, jihadists and other undesirables.

People who trek hundreds of miles on foot or cram into rubber rafts for ocean voyages typically have more pressing objectives than militancy. They do it to escape violence and extremism, not to spread it.

As it was so succinctly put today on Texas Monthly:

"I haven’t read the entire New Testament in some time, so it’s possible I could have this all wrong. Is “Give no fucks whatsoever about the welfare of others” from the Gospel of Mark or Luke?"

Re: “State Rep. Mary Bentley threatens Game and Fish funding in encounter with wildlife officer

As the shitbird flies -- around 20 miles from Sen. Rapert's house. Go figure.
