Re: “Ohio State to vacate 2010 wins

Sorry fellow Hog fans, maybe the NCCA will take further action....

According to the NCAA:

To record vacancies for regular season contests, the wins but not the losses of the penalized team are dropped from its overall record. This affects season records, all-time records and coaches' records. ... All records that are changed should be asterisked with the footnote stating something to the effect of "Later vacated by NCAA action."

The won-lost records for each of the opposing teams are not changed when games are vacated.

Re: “More 1st amendment limits

Max:

Have you taken the time to read the bill/law? The law is CONTENT neutral! Take another look.

Re: “Attorney General offers weak opinion on the Razorback Foundation

Max:

The media is asking the wrong question.

"...other seats are reportedly available for non-donor attendance."

With a little digging, you will be able to find out what group of individuals gets to buy season tickets without making a donation. Should this be considered a reportable gift? Also, what type of funds are these individuals using to buy these season tickets?

Who is able to buy these non-donor attendance seats?

I think with a little digging, you will find the real story. And letting this group of individuals buy tickets, should it be considered a gift that they do not have to donate to buy season tickets?????

Re: “Lottery officials named in lawsuit

This could get interesting Max. Who is going to represent the ALC in court? The Attorney General's office normally represents agencies when they get sued. Here, the ALC let her go based on the fact that she talked with the Attorney General's office and considered it a breach. I guess the ALC is going to have to contract out an attorney to represent them in court. An FOI request to see all communication between the ALC and the Attorney General's office should be coming shortly from Walker I bet. If it got any advice from them on other issues, this could be an easy case.

Re: “Steele to lead Black Caucus

Trying to think of more the Caucus' that are out there....

Country Caucus (they have the best parties, its more of a social caucus)
Veteran's Caucus (meet about once a session for a dinner)
Sportsman/Sportswomen Caucus (Actually have meetings and an agenda)
Black Caucus (among other things they do, the speaker candidates come talk to them as a group)
Women's Caucus (speaker candidates come talk to them as a group)
Pulaski County Caucus (more informal but around)
Northwest Arkansas Caucus (more informal but around)
Each congressional district has a caucus (more formal and meet when the house needs to get information out to groups of legislators)
Republican Caucus
Democratic Caucus
