Re: “Justice reform? Don't tell it to Tough Talking Tom Cotton

Can't wait for election time,Cotton Hutchinson and Ruthledge all need replaced including our state representatives. They have turned this state into a joke, laws more laws, imprisonments. They all are pocket liners, not for the benefit of the people of Arkansas.

Re: “Two prison inmate deaths referred to State Police for investigation

Don't worry Arkansas covers up everything, investigations will show no wrong doing, probably suicide is there favorite wording.

Re: “Lawsuit filed against ADC officials, prison chaplain convicted of sexual assault at McPherson

ADC is more corrupt than the inmates they house, even men inmates won't complain because of retaliation, they all under go mental and physical abuse. They try blame the inmate contraband on visitors and the mail, when actually guards make alot of money furnishing inmates contraband. The prison system has inadequate mental health service or drug rehab no rehab for people who have had traumatic brain injuries. More law suits need to happen including sueing the state governor. In the courts there is lots of sexual discrimination,if women due same crime as men then should do same time. Majority of inmates are drug offenders, prison suits no purpose for,but the prison system is a big business in Arkansas, I do believe our governor was going to do prison reform. the reform was to imprison more. The USDOJ placed a lawsuit few years ago against Arkansas, for mental health courts, what happened Arkansas only got one. It is not uncommon in ADC for inmates to be beat by guards for having contraband but is kept quiet.

Re: “Cozy Arkansas, judicial edition

In Arkansas we vote to elect our officials to listen to the people. I have filed complaints about local police and civil right violations from local all the way to our Congress, and either they pass the buck to someone else or don't respond. I find it that it's ok for police in this state to get away with abuse, illegal search's and seizures. Time when election comes to vote for government that listens and responds to the people. So many times in this state the police and prosecutors consistantly go after and arrest the mentally ill or poor and convince them to plea just to get a conviction, knowing that some mentally ill are scared and will do or say what they want because afraid of retaliation.
