Re: “Former state board of education chair Sam Ledbetter weighs in on Little Rock millage vote

Asa and his regressive cronies are taking a page out of the National Regressive Party handbook. Threats of government shut down, failure to support Republican ideas only because proposed by Democrats, insane gerrymandering districts to deny true democracy, refusal to follow constitutional mandate to give a hearing to supreme court nominee Garland, etc. have not yielded any benefits to progressives. The democrats seem to say, "Thank you sir, may I have another?" Bend over before you vote for the millage sustainment.

Re: “Healthy crowd descends on Capitol for March for Science

The Cubans tried to tell us that it was indeed a hurricane that just hit them and that it was headed toward Galveston. Hubris got in the way resulting in thousands dead.

Re: “Healthy crowd descends on Capitol for March for Science

The most drastic increase in temperature by the nth degree just happens to coincide with the industrialization of the planet. If they'd be honest and just admit that they choose profits over a livable environment I'd have at least some respect for them. But they are cowards just looking to stuff their pockets. And of course they are all members of the Regressive party. Those Regressives sure do like their money don't they? Won't be able to pass it down to their great grandchildren however if the planet is a living hell by then. On current pace, this planet is not going to be a pretty place in 100 years.

Re: “Arkansas Supreme Court stays lower court injunction on execution drug, clearing way for execution of Ledell Lee

Wondering if the supreme killers really even addressed the merits or the burden of proof of the preliminary injunction? Probably just did a legal broad jump over such niceties. Because you know the drugs are running out. If so they join the ASA lynch mob.

Re: “Circuit judge's restraining order on drug blocks all executions for now

The judicial system itself is often cruel and unusual even before you get to the punishment phase: Underpaid and/or incompetent defense counsel often combined with unethical and/or overzealous prosecutors.

Re: “The Easter open line: It's all about death

When is Dreamland on again? I keep missing it. Just imagine how cool that section of town could have been if preserved instead of tearing it down to make way for the Wilbur D. Mills expressway.

Re: “What Asa's Executionpalooza has wrought

ASA! doesn't have very good judgement. The judgement that lined up 8 executions in 2 weeks 'fore the drugs run out is the same terrible judgement that compelled him to lead the prosecution against Bill ("if they say its not about sex, its about sex") Clinton. More of a rube, than a statesman.
