Re: “Justice-elect to divorce

Fair enough question. Yes, I do understand that the state constitutional officer elections will not come up again until 2014. Also, a judge must resign from office upon becoming a candidate for a non-judicial office either in a primary or general election, so obviously she will hold out for a while before she makes an official announcement for candidacy to another office. However, I wouldn't doubt her making unofficial hints to people of what office she is thinking about for the future. She might even take bribes on the Court from her Forrest City donors - who knows.

I have heard that the (not so) Honorable Henry could possible wage a bid for the Attorney General in 2014. However, at the rate she is going, I doubt she would want to start so small and would probably want to go straight for Governor. However, she is not going to have the help of the Henry family, and likely Clintons to springboard her forward.

Re: “Justice-elect to divorce

Not only was Courtney Henry the least qualified candidate, her honesty and integrity as a judicial officer is completely absent. It is a shame.

However, we won't have to worry about her staying in office for long as she will begin campaigning for a different office within the next 18 months and leave another elected position without finishing her term. What a disgrace.
