Re: “LR doctors indicted for health-care fraud

I was a patient of the Barrows and I believe this is true. I had an insurance policy that only covered so many doctor visits per year. They sent me to the "therapist" and all my visits were used up by those appointments after I was assured this was a referral and all visits would be under the umbrella of the first visit. Well that was a lie and I had to wait several months to go back to the doctor as I had to wait until the next physical year. Also they practically wanted me to come in every month yo refill my Premarin prescription when most doctors give you a six or 12 month refill. Then I went in for several symptoms that had nothing to do with needing any type of therapy. Dr. Angela Barrow didn't draw blood or anything. She wanted me to go to the "massage therapist". I refused and at that point I figured it was something underhanded going on. Maybe I should have looked at my statements a little more. No telling what services they billed my insurance company for that I didn't get. Maybe they sold because of office manager or maybe that's just the story they told and "they're sticking with it". Thank God I found a great doctor to replace them.
