Re: “Little Rock Airport lines longer after 'improvements'

I fly out of Little Rock every week just about and I have for years. I live in Russellville and generally leave about 2.5 hours prior to my flight and have never had an issue making a flight.

Today 5/14/12 I left Russellville at 7:50am for a 10:40 flight. I finished check in @ 09:25 and went up to security. When I topped the escalators the line was backed up to the top of the stairs. I could barely get off the escalator, literally.

I stood in line for over an hour until United started calling my name saying I had 5 minutes to make the flight. At this time there was about 25 people ahead of me.

I was not alone in this as several others in line were getting frustrated and vocal and I finally called the TSA agent over and explained to him that they were calling me and the agent told me tuff that I needed to get to the airport earlier.

This particular agent knows that I am a frequent flier from LIT and has been confrontational with me in the past regarding the body scanners when he tried to feed me propaganda about them and I rebuffed everything he was telling me with research I had done myself.

Luckily in the end, the people ahead of me let me jump in line and I had to run with my shoes and belt in hand and made it onto the flight as they were closing the door.

TSA has no accountability and has a total disregard for airport patrons. It's only going to get worse.
