Re: “Chipotle proposes more fast food, more traffic at Markham and University

As I said before, Catcher, nothing was intended. I'm happy to discuss it further with you over coffee. My email address is shurst@littlerock.org, if you'd like to find a time.

I think that's a stretch, Catcher. There was nothing intended. Next time I'll be careful to say everyone's name at the same time.

Wow, Catcher. I was merely pointing out the Planning Commissioners that I know don't live in West Little Rock. Mr. Nunnley does not.

Re: “Chipotle proposes more fast food, more traffic at Markham and University

Old Man: I'd absolutely support Planning Commissioners from every Ward. What I think is more important though, is a good mix -- of folks involved with real estate and development, and those that represent neighborhoods. Bill Rector, who has served for a long time on the Planning Commission, lives in Hillcrest. JT Ferstl lives in the Heights and Janet Dillon in Overlook. I'd welcome a representative from CVSS. And the only Planning Commissioner that I routinely have communication with is Bill Rector, through the Midtown Redevelopment Committee.

Old Man: Three members of the Planning Commission reside in Ward 3, which I don't consider West LR. And Obray Nunnley lives in Ward 2.

Re: “UPDATE: City board approves McDonald's at University/Markham

Actually, by the time I voted, it had already passed with 8 votes in the affirmative. I quickly reconsidered because I do still have concerns about traffic and wanted to be on the record in opposition, even though it didn't change the outcome. Their traffic studies say it will work, so I guess we shall see.

Re: “McDonald's: Offers money to cure past mistake, create another

couldn't be better: Thank you. And sure, I'll tell the mayor he ought to respond occasionally.
