Re: “Careful what you say on the Internet in Greenwood

What rights? Has there been a repeal of the legislation trampling all over the Constitution? Let the Pink Slip March this Spring show those greedy, overstuffed so called lawmakers we are not going to sit idly by any longer while they continually erode the Bill of Rights. How can anyone with the slightest smidgen of conscience justify passing laws they exempt themselves from? It is not possible. Public service was never intended to be a get rich quick scheme absolving anyone of penalties for unacceptable behavior. If anything, public figures need to hold themselves to a higher standard of performance - not use their money and their connections to avoid due process. I understand Mr. McCaslin's need for self preservation but who else will be willing to be the poster child for 1st amendment rights protection if we all give in and give up?

Re: “Indiana pushing Right to Work (for less)

And so it goes - The thin veneer most elected representatives maintain trying to convince voters of their dedication to the best interests of their constituency is becoming increasingly transparent. Do they really care about the economic welfare of the people? Do they ever consider working within Constitutional guidelines? Think about it - who will lower wages benefit? The working class who have had to cut their food budgets to the point of considering meat on the table a luxury? Lower wages and increased taxes - the perfect prescription for all out revolt. A peaceful revolution is only possible if people aren't watching their children go hungry. Get a grip Indiana or be the poster child for a spontaneous uprising against the powers that be - It is time for the Pink Slip March and maybe we should start at the individual state level and reform the government there to be prepared to assume the power and money redirected from federal hands. Government will no longer be a get rich quick scheme but rather will be a volunteer assignment handed out to community leaders one by one for short periods of time. Self -interest and greed will no longer be tolerated.
