Re: “Private club ordinance continues to advance

Years ago, they implemented a 2:00 AM curfew in Fayetteville. It changed the climate and reduced some jobs, but in the end, I am glad the change came about. As a musician, I would work from 10 PM, and sometimes be through at 4 AM. Sounds crazy, but if they pay you extra for working extra, then you work. I didn't like those 6 hour shifts. Fayetteville is currently ok with the curfew, from what I've seen. I do believe, as someone has already mentioned, the new ordinance is probably being pushed by some crazy religious types who think we should all be like they are, or how they appear on Sunday mornings. A business, working to keep its doors open, should be allowed to be open 24/7 if that will help them survive. Obviously, if you aren't making any money in those early hours, then you won't be open.
