Re: “A skeptical take on psychology and men

That's funny, Oaph. You might want to watch it till you get the hang of it. It won't get you laid, but it will make you more..... Lively.

Still, you post stuff like that and you will get some of the women here all worked up. Couple of them might think it a duty to tame the Tom.

Yes, yellow dog, because we all know we can trust silly stereotypes. Gillette is being righteously mocked for that goofy ad.

Thanks for the laugh, ydd.

Re: “A skeptical take on psychology and men

The whole idea of one gender being better or kinder really ignores the virtues and vices of each.

Masculinity is no more toxic than femininity. Men tend towards one aspect and women, another. But then that would disprove this trendy notion of patriarchy.

Strong women want strong men. Reports like the APA report will leave a lot of frustrated women having a burgeoning group of beta males to annoy them.

Re: “Best opening paragraph of the day: The unthinkable Donald Trump

Doig, darling, of course I kept up. I got the general slant of your article when I caught this tasty tidbit of bias.

"Following the dangerous and foolhardy withdrawal from the Iran nuclear deal the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) which pleased Israel and Saudi Arabia, "

Considering the deal was a capitulation to the Iranians desire for nuclear weapons, it was logical that any president who cared about peace would destroy such an abject and manufacture disaster as Obama's nadir of surrender.

But the, again, and still, how many of you were declaring that Trump would have us at war within a year? Didnd't we hear and read the high keening wail of Death, in his typically hysterical fashion, declare we would be radiated corpses, and REAL soon?

Iran is the greatest threat in the region, and their stated desire to commit genocide to the inhabitants of Israel is unyielding and undiminished.

Re: “Today's news and the open line

I see some folks zeroed in the one name, but ignored the meat of the articles.

How typical, how myopic, how zealous and deluded.

Katie, darling, sweetie, me and the Dim Damsel have a history of trading comments for years, dearie.

You have come late to the party. I was critical of the Psychotic One when she defended a convicted pedophile rapist.

Like I said, Doc, out of Syria, for the most part, hasn't started any new terrorist groups, improved the economy, all in stark contrast to eight years of failure.
