Re: “Alarming report on climate leaked to New York Times

There has always been climate change and there will always be climate change. All of this mashing of teeth is to get grant money. It is about learning to live with the change and adapt. If there is oil in the desert then trees grew there one time. This is about people needing work to study things they cannot change. It appears there is at least one way we can save tax money and help the needy. A recent study by Chicken Little says the sky is falling.

Re: “Tom Cotton wants the whole enchilada on Obamacare repeal. Or so he says.

People didn't die in the street before, hospitals provided free care which wasn't good for the hospitals. Many doctors offices list insurance companies that won't recognize and they say they won't take Medicare or Medicaid. Insurance with $5,000 or $10,000 deductibles is not insurance. When all the government can take back is your tax return if you don't have coverage isn't worth anything and neither is a $2,000 penalty a year for no insurance. Health care period needs to be reworked starting with the drug companies. $1,000 or a $10,000 pill should be considered robbery. Doctors should get fair fees and they that overcharge should loose their license. The problem is that no one has the guts to do what needs to be done to fix the problems. Richard Nixon according to Ted Kennedy wanted to provide universal health care but the Democrats said that that was theirs to fix. That was a miss.

Re: “Trump makes Leslie Rutledge an agriculture advisor

Most groups like to have at least one member as an Attorney whether she knows what a plow is or not. That way you don't have to pay extra for a law book totter. Anyway it is hard to find a Republican Attorney. I would add a newspaper person that was a Republican and that would be impossible.
