Re: “'Every day was a Tuesday'

My dad was employed by the Sanatorium, I was born in1951 and was in a crib at the dairy from day one, I was on the hill every day till I was 18, except for a short time we lived at Carolan at Cooper dairy(now Dale Bumpers farm) not that he had as much to do with it as my dad. I understand that it was a place with a lot of illness but I resent Meyers statement that no one should remember it. many of us live happy lives growing up there, we were loved and free to play all over the Hill andsheltered from a lot of evil in the world, sometimes I regret being from Booneville because of the hateful girls I went to school with but the Hill was a peaceful happy place to grow up and I have many wonderful memories
