Re: “Monday morning nut watch

That Chris Nogy is a looker, isn't he? Good to know that the 1970s prog-rock look has found a home in the Republican Party of Benton County...

Re: “Today, Mark Pryor opposes marriage equality

eLwood: Again, I have nothing but great regard for you and I feel what you are saying. Like myself, I suspect many of the other commenters on this thread have already been down this road and have passed the point on that road that you now occupy. We have been in your shoes. We know how it feels to wear them. For years, we have held our noses, wretched & gagged and voted for plenty of these Democrats. We have knocked on doors for Blanche, etc. We are past the point of being comforted by these empty, soulless so-called Democrats. I respect what you have to say and I'm OK if you feel comfort in supporting Mark Pryor, but this yellow dog Democrat has reached a point that my heart runs just as cold for Pryor as it does for Boozman. As Warren Buffett's partner Charlie Munger has been known to say about promising, but sketchy investment proposals: "You can mix raisins with t*rds, but they're still t*rds." I can't eat this bowl of Pryor raisins any longer...

Re: “Today, Mark Pryor opposes marriage equality

eLwood: No disrespect to you, but it sounds like you're saying that David Pryor gets a free pass and gets to be highly regarded as a fine leader because the waters were smooth back in his day and he never had to prove whether or not he was a useless coward like his son. The great ones, flawed as they are (like LBJ--see VietNam), have had the capacity--from time to time--to make hard political decisions (see Civil Rights) which caused their hair to get mussed up or jeopardized their comfy positions. Fulbright left an opposite legacy from LBJ (cowardly on Civil Rights, but willing to abandon the charade of VietNam), but was likewise willing--from time to time--to support the right cause in the face of the collective "wisdom" of the Arkansas electorate. Collectively, the Pryors may be warm & wonderful people--hale & hearty fellows--but if that's all they are, it's a cold comfort to the people of Arkansas...

Re: “Today, Mark Pryor opposes marriage equality

They say you don't know how well you've done as a parent until you see how your grandchildren turn out. At this point, Pryor's parents have to be sweating the results of that test as they view this useless coward that they have raised...

Re: “VIDEO: Apologetic McDaniel takes questions on affair, vows to continue race for governor

Andi Davis sounds like she should be on reality TV...she & Judge Gunn should start a production company together...

Re: “Pryor says Weiner should resign

Normally I wouldn't care, but I would actually like to see a picture of Sen. Pryor's balls just to be sure that he has some. He certainly never uses them in his political activities...

Re: “The face of intolerance

The 1st Amendment guarantees every person's right to speak and act like a jack*ss. Being a jack*ss is not against the law. What is disappointing is the failure of our media to report these stories for what they are. These stories should not be portrayed as news but as observations on the variety of odd behaviors that the human beast engages.
